Global Photo Booths Continues Expansion With Appointment Of Irish Distributor
In the lead up to one of Irelands leading photographic exhibitions, Photofest, Global Photo Booths Ltd (GPB) the UK based portable photo booth manufacturing and sales company has appointed Lewis & Godsil Ltd, as its sole distributor in Ireland.
The deal comes after Daniel Lewis and Robbie Godsil, Directors of Lewis & Godsil Ltd visited GPB in February with the intention of purchasing a photo booth for their event management company.
Commenting on the appointment Tim Warrington, CEO of GPB said; “We are extremely excited by the opportunities this appointment provides us to expand into and across Ireland. We have received significant interest from potential customers in Ireland and this appointment will enable them to view and purchase our booths much closer to home.”
Lewis & Godsil currently operate Planmydebs.ie and The Graduation Company supplying both event management services and graduation gifts to the Irish student and education market.
Talking about their appointment Lewis said; “We are delighted to have agreed the deal with Tim and his team to distribute their range of photo booths throughout Ireland. Photo booth hire is growing massively here and having looked and having seen the quality of Globals’ booths and software first hand, we had no hesitation in seeking to partner with them, as they sought to expand into Ireland.”
This is the second recent overseas appointment for GPB, who operating under the name of Photobooths.co.uk, appointed their first distributor in Australia back in November and are currently close to completing deals in both Singapore and Russia.
Commenting on his future plans for expansion Tim added “We are actively seeking distributors in many other parts of the globe and expect to be making more announcements in the next few weeks and months”

After spending 4 years in Leicester studying physics where my final dissertation project was heavily programming based I was keen to begin a career in software development. Working on Photobooths seemed like a fun and interesting place to start.
From College went into the family run business – Advertising Agency. Eventually took over the reins of the company and moved it into a more technical direction. After retirements changed the dynamic of the company we changed direction to a Direct Mailing Company specialising in digital and mailing’s for Electricity companies (MEB, British Gas, nPower). After a profitable run I felt a change was needed and so started a Programming and Consultancy Business. This eventually led me to the world of PhotoBooths and beyond.
