Magic Mirror Fun For Alfie Johnson

Photobooths kindly donated the use of their Magic Mirror Booth at a Summer Charity Ball to help raise funds for “The Friends of Alfie Johnson”, a local charity to Photobooths based in the West Midlands.

The Charity Summer Ball is hosted every year to raise money for the Friends of Alfie Johnson charity. This year the event was hosted at the Copthorne Hotel, Merry Hill, and along with a 3 course meal, hosted a vast array of entertainment including a live band, DJ, and a Magician. There was also a live auction and charity raffle to raise money.

The Magic Mirror was the perfect addition to the evening entertainment and captured full length photos of everyone at the event looking glamorous. Donations were requested to use the Mirror, and throughout the evening the Magic Mirror Booth managed to raise £556.

Take a look at some of the photos it captured:

From the support of everyone involved the Summer Ball, a grand total was raised in excess of £16,000!

Photobooths are incredible humbled to have played a role in helping achieve this fantastic amount!

The Friends of Alfie Johnson charity is committed to helping children with disabilities in the Dudley, Sandwell and Wolverhampton Borough’s of the Black Country. It has been established after the heart touching story of Alfie Johnson. A child who was born with brain injuries sustained during his birth, which have left him with a number of complex conditions. He suffers with Cerebral Palsy, Microcephaly, Seizures and Dystonia, as well as being severely visually impaired/blind. Alfie’s life will always be a tough one and he faces a lifetime of hospital treatment, but the family and friends of Alfie always stay strong and keep smiling, and this charity not only supports Alfie, but other children also suffering with disabilities.
