What is a 360 Video Booth?
In a nutshell. The 360 Videobooth enables you to capture 360-degree video of a group of event guests, from any angle in real-time speed, or slow motion.
They comprise of a sturdy base, mounted on a steel frame and housing a motorized mechanism.
This enables the external arm to be automatically rotated, at a controlled speed, all around the base, clockwise or anti-clockwise. Attached to the arm is a holder for a video recording device i.e. a mobile phone, iPad, GoPro or even a DSLR.
Also attached to the arm is a light source to illuminate the guests on the platform.
When guests stand on the platform, the arm circles around them, capturing the video, as they stand and pose on it. The results are truly breathtaking. Creating amazing, branded content that can be shared in seconds.
How Do 360 Video Booths Work?
There are a few options to control the the 360 video booth. One is using our own bespoke software package and integrated wi-fi (yes it has its own wi-fi built in, so you don’t have to rely on a not always reliable signal from the venue’s system!)
The software loaded onto a tablet gives you full control over timing, speed, direction, and special effects. With one button press, both the arm movement and the recording are triggered simultaneously on your spinning video booth..
Once the guests have had their fun on the platform and the video has been captured, if using our bespoke software, the participants can then select the video style they want.
For example. Standard, slow-motion or with branding and or special effects.
A QR code is then generated on the tablet, which they can scan to immediately access the video and share on their social media.
How Much Does a 360 Video Booth Cost?
The cost of a 360 degree video booth depends on the features and accessories you want with it. For an entry-level set-up where you can purchase a 360 video booth platform and use your own video recording device with a downloadable app, you are looking in the region of £1,999.
If you were wanting a system with a top-end video recorder such as the Go Pro, together with full-featured bespoke software to synchronise the recording and movement of the booth as well as special effects features, such systems would be in the region of £4,900. There are also various video 360 booth options at prices in between these two levels..

After spending 4 years in Leicester studying physics where my final dissertation project was heavily programming based I was keen to begin a career in software development. Working on Photobooths seemed like a fun and interesting place to start.
From College went into the family run business – Advertising Agency. Eventually took over the reins of the company and moved it into a more technical direction. After retirements changed the dynamic of the company we changed direction to a Direct Mailing Company specialising in digital and mailing’s for Electricity companies (MEB, British Gas, nPower). After a profitable run I felt a change was needed and so started a Programming and Consultancy Business. This eventually led me to the world of PhotoBooths and beyond.
