Photo Booth Frame-Step-by-Step Procedure

Here is the step-by-step process for making your own photo booth frames. It is important to look over the list of items you will need before you begin the process.

Here are the things you’ll need

  • Cardboard
  • Scissors
  • Adhesive glue
  • Glue gun
  • Cutter/ knife
  • Blade
  • Foam sheet
  • Artificial flowers
  • Pencil
  • Ruler
  • Sandpaper
  • Binding wire

Step #1

On your cardboard, draw the dimensions of the photo as clear as possible for an effortless cutting process.3-4 persons, the size of the frame should be 48 x 36 inches minimum.

Ensure your frame lines are clear so cutting will be effortless.

Step #2

Using a cutter/blade, cut the body of the picture frame for a party after sketching it on cardboard. Using a ruler as well as the cutter will allow you to cut straight when using the cutter. The blade, however, if you find it unsafe to use it, you may want to use a pair of scissors instead.

Once the frame has been cut, smooth out the edges by using sandpaper after it has been cut. Sandpaper should not be rubbed too hard, as this will even out the lines.

Step #3

The paper can be glued on the front side with adhesive glue if you wish to customize the frame or add some quotations.

To make the photo prop frame, cut a foam sheet the same size as the photo frame. The foam sheet shouldn’t be pasted in layers. One sheet should be enough. You could also use a glue gun to glue it to the cardboard. After it dries, step into the next stage.

Step #4

For extra strength, take another piece of cardboard. Place it on the back of the frame, and paste another piece of cardboard on top of it. Glue the cardboard to the backside of the frame.

REMEMBER: Kids should not use glue guns. Underage children should be supervised when using glue guns. Otherwise, they may burn themselves.

Step #5

Now you can take some cheesy photos using your photo booth frame. You can decorate the frame with artificial flowers by mounting them with a silver wire. Be sure to use a binding wire under adult supervision.

How to Make Social Media Photo Prop Frame?

The use of social media photo frames is pretty trendy these days. In fact, you can make them at home pretty easily. Just follow the steps below;

Step #1

Before cutting or rubbing the cardboard, search the internet for social media frames. For this purpose, Instagram social posts are extremely popular, since they look so great.

It is important to print posts at a size that allows for easy reading of the fonts. Aside from customization, you also have the option of adding a name, location, and username to the print.

Step #2

Download the picture and cut the frame once it has been put aside. Create the photo prop frame as described above.

It is common for people to paste the picture before cutting the frame, which is a big mistake.

If the image is pasted before the body is cut, there is nothing wrong with that.

When your aspect ratio is not the same on all sides of the picture, or if you need to trim the frame even further, the image will be distorted. A body that contains elements or text will be cut when the body is trimmed, ruining the image.

Step #3

Attach foam sheet and cardboard to the back of the frame. Include flowers, if desired. Get your friends together and have a sassy photo shoot with the frame.

The above procedure will enable you to create as many frames as you like for your party. A photo booth frame will last for a long time if you take good care of it. While making the frames, avoid the mistakes listed above.
